Delivery Policy

At Dream Etching, we're committed to providing high-quality, custom products and timely delivery while adhering to New Zealand consumer laws. Please read our delivery policy carefully:

1. Order Processing and Production:

   - Upon receiving your order, we'll send a confirmation email within 24 hours.

   - As our products are custom-made, we require up to 1 week (5-7 business days) for production.

   - We'll notify you once your order is ready for shipping.

2. Shipping:

   - We use NZ Post or NZCouriers for all deliveries within New Zealand.

   - Shipping times typically range from 1-3 business days, depending on your location.

   - International shipping is not currently available due to prohibitive shipping costs.  Please email admin@dream-etching.com if you still wish to enquire.

3. Delivery Timeframes:

   - Total delivery time includes both production (up to 1 week) and shipping (1-3 business days).

   - While we strive to meet these timeframes, occasional delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.

4. Tracking:

   - Once your order is shipped, we'll provide a tracking number via email.

   - You can track your package using this number on the courier's website.

5. Delivery Costs:

   - Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

   - We do not offer "free shipping" as this is seen to be an illusion that is intended to deceive customers, as many retailers often inflate their product costs to cover this 'free' shipping.  In the interest of transparency, we will always declare shipping costs.

6. Failed Deliveries:

   - If a delivery attempt fails, the courier will leave a card with further instructions.

   - After multiple failed attempts, the package may be returned to us. In this case, we'll contact you to arrange redelivery (additional charges may apply).

7. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:

   - As per New Zealand law, we guarantee that our products are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match the description provided.

   - If you receive a faulty product or your order doesn't meet these guarantees, please contact us within a reasonable time for a resolution.

8. Returns and Refunds:

   - Please refer to our separate Returns and Refunds Policy for information on how to return items and request refunds.
